## Summary

The Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner has recently awarded two contracts for therapeutic support for children and young people. The procurement included two lots focusing on therapeutic counselling services, with the first lot specifically tailored for children and young people affected by serious violence. The contracts were awarded to Base 51 and Al-Hurraya. The procurement stage was at the award phase, and the contracts were signed on 23rd November 2022. The location for the delivery of services is Nottinghamshire within the health and social work services category.

This tender presents opportunities for businesses providing health and social work services, especially those with expertise in therapeutic counselling for children and young people. Companies registered for such services should consider engaging with the Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner for potential future tenders. Given the focus on trauma-informed therapy and culturally specific interventions for marginalized communities, businesses with experience in these areas are well-suited to compete and contribute positively to the community's well-being.
