## Summary

The Home Office is preparing to engage the market for the procurement of Conductive Energy Devices, issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to better understand the market's capacity and appetite for these goods. This process is currently at the planning stage with a potential contract value of £50 million. Interested suppliers must express their interest in future tender opportunities, with a deadline for responses to the RFI set for 12th August 2022. The delivery of these goods is intended for locations across the United Kingdom, with no active call for competition at this time.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in protective and less lethal weapon technologies, as the Home Office seeks innovative solutions to enhance public safety and improve policing capabilities. Suppliers of miscellaneous weapons and related technology should consider participating in this market engagement to position themselves for future contracts. Engaging with this procurement process could lead to substantial growth as it aligns with ongoing developments in UK policing and public safety strategies.
