It is anticipated that the portfolio of L&E will grow significantly in the next 10 years as stations are made more accessible to all passengers through Access for All funded schemes. NR is seeking to undertake a tender exercise to establish a framework agreement for Lift and Escalator Maintenance, Inspection and Renewals. This proposed framework seeks to establish a 'one stop shop' for NR's ever-growing Lift & Escalator needs. These new frameworks will replace the current single-supplier frameworks (one separate single supplier framework each for Lift and Escalators) that are due to expire on 31 March 2024. Network Rail intends to undertake a tender exercise in late 2022 to establish a framework agreement that covers: - Lot 1: Lift Maintenance - Lot 2: Escalator Maintenance - Lot 3: Mandatory Inspections (Lifts and Escalators) - Lot 4: Lift Renewals and New Installations - Lot 5: Escalator Renewals and New Installations NR would like to seek feedback from the supply market on its proposed procurement plans. NR will hold a briefing session, via MS Teams, on the proposed plan on the 16th August 2022 Time TBC.
