## Notice

East Lothian Council, on behalf of East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership, has a requirement for two residential respite beds in a care home(s) within in the East Lothian Council area (preference is for nursing level care but ELHSCP may consider residential level), which will provide episodes of registered care and support on a planned and rolling basis - thus relieving the main carer(s) of their caring responsibilities for a period of time and so providing them with the opportunity for a respite break also known as a short break.

Lot 1

East Lothian Council is seeking offers in relation to 2 beds for planned residential respite care within East Lothian. Tenderers may submit offers in respect of 1 or both beds. The contract(s) is anticipated to start in November 2022 for a 2 year period, with the option for the Council to extend by a further period of 1 year. To participate in this opportunity expressions of interest must be submitted by 12 September 2022 via this notice or by e-mailing procurement@eastlothian.gov.uk. The Council will hold an online provider event during week of 29 August with interested parties to answer questions related to the requirement. To attend please note an expression of interest via this notice or e-mail procurement@eastlothian.gov.uk. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
