## Summary

The Manchester City Council has awarded a Framework Agreement for Sensory Equipment, focusing on health services for deaf, hard of hearing, and visually impaired individuals in Manchester. The agreement aims to provide independence within homes following need assessments by Manchester City Council's Sensory Team. The procurement method was an open procedure, and the contract worth £220,000 was signed on 5th April 2023 with suppliers Sarabec Ltd, Bellman & Symfon UK Ltd, and Hearing Products.

This tender presents business opportunities for SMEs in the health services sector, particularly those offering sensory equipment for individuals with sensory impairments. The Framework Agreement's focus on quality, social value, and environmental considerations creates opportunities for businesses aligning with these values. Businesses specialising in equipment for citizen safety and independence, with a focus on sensory needs, are well-suited to compete for contracts in this framework.
