Lot 1

The Business Services Organisation ("BSO") on behalf of Health and Social Care Northern Ireland wishes to procure the delivery, implementation, ongoing support and development of a single regional integrated RIS,PACS and VNA which will operate as a single imaging system with the facility to store, distribute, view and diagnose images both within radiology and those which originate outside of the radiology domain in their native format, to be known as the Northern Ireland Picture Archive and Communications System + Solution (the"NIPACS+ Solution"). Additional information: Please note this is not a joint procurement.The contracting authority is BSO as stated in I.1 awarding on behalf of HSCNI as described in Section VI.3.Please see Section VI.3 for full details of the NIPACS+ requirement

Options: The duration of the contract will be 10 years with the option for the term to be extended at BSO's discretion by afurther 5 years in 1 year increments.Options will be also required for additional interface development and additional data migration.BSO may exercise an option to implement the epic radiology information system at a still to be determinedtime during the NIPACS+ contract. This may require additional assistance from the NIPACS+ solution supplier.
