## Notice

TEFOS (Territorios Forestales Sostenibles) is a flagship programme under the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office's (FCDO) International Climate Finance (ICF). It provides funding to support the Government of Colombia (GoC) to tackle deforestation in conflict-affected areas, through three programme "Pillars": i. Strengthening land registry systems to incentivise sustainable land management, ii. Strengthening the criminal justice system to tackle environmental crime in deforestation hotspots, and iii. Creating and promoting innovative, sustainable economic opportunities for communities. Pillar 3 aims to reduce pressure in selected deforestation hotspots through sustainable economic activities and conservation incentives. The overarching objectives are below and the geographic scope for implementation would be in selected PDET1 municipalities in Caqueta, Guaviare, northern Putumayo and southern Meta: i. Increasing small and medium enterprises2 (SME) skills to produce commodities and services that protect standing forests in line with environmental restrictions in selected TEFOS PDET municipalities. ii. Improving market access for commodities and services that protect standing forests in the deforestation border in selected TEFOS PDET municipalities. iii. Promoting conservation incentives such as payments for ecosystem services (PES) and conservation agreements (led by Environmental Authorities) in areas with land use restrictions in selected TEFOS PDET municipalities

Lot 1

As described in the original contract notice, the estimated value of this requirement is up to a maximum of PS10.9 million. This figure includes an initial Contract value of up to PS9.9 million and a core period of up to 42 months. There is a possible 12-month extension at a value of up to PS1 million, subject to approval and a business case addendum. The contract will be initially awarded for the core period only. The estimated value includes all applicable taxes, and tenderers should include all applicable taxes in their tenders.
