## Summary

The Home Office Maritime Procurement Team is planning a tender process for the purchase of Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs) and Road Launching Trailers. The objective is to enhance border security in UK waters, requiring suppliers to submit expressions of interest by 05 August 2022. The tender aims to fulfil Border Force's need for vessels meeting specific maritime regulations and operational requirements.

This procurement presents an opportunity for businesses specialising in marine patrol vessels to compete for a contract to supply RHIBs and trailers to the Home Office. Companies capable of providing COTS solutions meeting strict specifications by January 2023 are encouraged to participate. This tender process signifies a strategic investment by the government to strengthen border control measures and maritime security, fostering potential growth for suppliers in the maritime industry.
