## Summary

Medway Council is seeking suppliers for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) focused on Supported Accommodation and Floating Support services for Care Leavers aged 16-25 in the UKJ41 region. This initiative falls under the Health and Social Work Services category, and it's currently in the tender stage following an update as of 30th September 2025. The DPS covers a range of services through six lots, each lasting 1080 days with potential extensions. Businesses can apply for multiple lots, including those offering small group accommodations, floating support, therapeutic support, activity placements, and individual tuition services. The procurement process employs a selective, restricted procedure, with submissions required electronically via the specified portal. The original tender was issued on 5th September 2022, with the tender period having ended on 5th October 2022.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses operating in the social work and health services sectors, particularly those specialising in youth support, therapeutic interventions, and educational services. Ideal contenders would be organisations experienced in managing or providing care for young people, especially care leavers. The versatility of the DPS, allowing for the provision of a wide range of services, encourages partnerships or consortium applications, thus broadening the scope for business growth within this framework. The inclusion of quality and pricing as award criteria (with a 40%-60% weighting, respectively) allows businesses to leverage their strengths in service quality and cost efficiency to secure contracts.
