## Summary

The Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) has awarded a contract for the provision of serials, periodicals, and associated services, with a total value of £250,000,000 GBP. The agreement, initiated by a tender process, is led by SUPC and supported by multiple organizations in the education sector. The contract, focusing on academic library subscription services, will cover various formats including print and digital resources. The procurement stage has been completed, and the contract expires on 30th April 2023, likely to be extended until 31st July 2023.

This procurement presents an opportunity for suppliers offering comprehensive academic library subscription services to compete for business growth. The agreement welcomes a maximum of 4 Suppliers for Lot 1, while Lot 2 was cancelled due to a lack of bidders. The procurement method used was an open procedure, and the contract has been successfully awarded to EBSCO International Inc, Otto Harrassowitz GmbH & Co. KG, and Prenax Limited. Businesses specializing in subscription management and academic library services are well-suited to participate in this contract opportunity.

### Lot Information

Full subscription management service

Lot 1 is intended for suppliers delivering comprehensive academic library subscription services from any publisher willing to contract via a subscriptions agent, including both print and digital resources with a subscriptions management portal and appropriate consolidation services.
