This initiative aims to inform the market about the upcoming procurement process for T Levels and will hold a virtual market engagement event on 22nd November 2022. There will also be one to one sessions offered where suppliers can meet with the procurement team, a workshop on how to bid for public contracts and a workshop specifically focussed on consortia bidding. The purpose of the proposed procurement will be to select and appoint an Awarding Organisation (AO) to be responsible for developing and delivering the Generation 2, Wave 1 T Level qualification, under an exclusive licensing approach. The expected scope of the role of the AO is that it would be responsible for: - reviewing and refining content of the qualification from Wave 1; - upskilling providers (further education schools and colleges); - providing of learning and teaching materials; - updating content; and- delivering qualification assessment services.
