## Summary

The Leicestershire County Council has awarded contracts for Tanker Services and Other Drainage Services at Waste Transfer Stations and Recycling and Household Waste Sites. The services include emptying cesspools, removal of oil and solid waste, cleansing gullies, and drainage maintenance. The contracts were signed on 14th February 2023, with a total value of GBP 10,250,000. Companies providing drainage services, cesspool emptying, and gully cleaning are well-suited to compete. The procurement process had multiple award criteria focusing on service quality and price, providing a clear framework for businesses to engage and potentially secure future contracts.
