## Summary

Newcastle City Council is leading the procurement process on behalf of the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) for the Flexible Procurement Agreement (Contract) in the Health and Social Work Services category. This agreement, open to NEPO Members and Associate Members, aims to serve Contracting Authorities across the UK. The tender, titled "NEPO602 - Education, Health and Social Care Interim Contract", has an active status and the tender period ends on 28th October 2022. The agreement covers a range of Lots targeting different special education needs for Children and Young People both Pre-16 and Post-16.

This tender presents opportunities for Providers in the Education and Health sectors to deliver a variety of services within the specified Lots. Businesses dealing with Education and Health services, particularly those catering to children with special needs and care requirements, are well-suited to compete in this procurement process. The lead authority, Newcastle City Council, emphasises the non-exclusive nature of the agreement and the importance of meeting the regulatory standards for Residential Children's Homes to be eligible for participation. With a duration of 360 days, the procurement method is an open procedure, providing a fair chance for interested parties to compete and extend their services.
