To fill a role within the current structure of a Jisc business area. Resource that works under supervision of a line manager for an agreed period of time. Worker continues to be employed by the agency with the agency undertaking pre-employment checks.

Temporary workers (Consultant)

To fill a role that would not exist within the current structure of a Jisc business area. Consultants work in an advisory capacity at arm's length, without supervision and supply their own equipment. The consultant is employed by the agency with the agency undertaking pre-employment checks.
