The employees are typically international assignees, and so are mostly expats, and are based in 70+ countries worldwide. Benefits are based on a tailored table of benefits, with a focus on medical treatments and check ups which are available on the NHS. ### Lot Information Lot 1 The British Council has been providing international private medical insurance to its internationally mobile employees for a number of years. At one time, there were two separate schemes for these employees, but these were consolidated into the current scheme at the last tender in 2018. We are seeking a supplier which can provide a full insurance solution, giving members access to high quality network and non-network facilities for out-patient, day- and in-patient services, via direct settlement, GoP and pay-and-claim. We expect high levels of service standards for members and administrators. The supplier must be willing to work with our brokers, Mercer Marsh Benefits, who receive a fixed rate of commission.
