## Summary

The Department for Education is planning a tender for the UK ENIC project, involving the operation of an educational centre. Prospective contractors are invited to provide international qualification services and engage in discussions regarding contractual models, specifications, and contract duration. An engagement session is scheduled for November 28, to last up to two hours, allowing for Q&A and feedback. Interested parties should register by emailing Richard Mawer and providing attendee details.

This tender by the Department for Education offers opportunities for businesses in the services sector, particularly those providing education and training services. Businesses capable of offering international qualification services and willing to engage in contractual discussions and innovation would be well-suited to compete. The tender presents a chance for growth through collaboration with a reputable government agency in the education sector.

## Notice

The Department is looking to engage with prospective Contractors to provide international qualification services - for further information on the services required please see the attached ENIC policy content document (attached to this notice). As part of engagement, the Department is looking to test early thinking on: 1. The contractual model, particularly between a concession contract approach in which end users are charged by the Contractor, or a funded model in which the Department provides a fee to the Contractor, or a hybrid of both; 2. Early thinking to our specification; what could be improved, what would look attractive to prospective Contractors and how risk could be managed during the Contract's life; 3. The duration of a future contract. The above list is not exhaustive. The Department will arrange a virtual engagement session to be held on Nov 28 and like to last for up to a maximum of x2 hours. A Teams link will be shared 24 hours in advance, alongside a draft copy of our initial specification - please note the draft specification is a first draft and subject to extensive change based on feedback and further internal development. The engagement session will involve an open Q&A format and will be led by DfE policy and commercial. A maximum of x3 attendees per prospective Contractor may attend, and questions may be submitted prior to the engagement session. The Department may follow on with a survey after the engagement session. To register your interest, please email Richard Mawer and provide confirmation of the name and email addresses of attendees.
