Provision of a Dementia Carers Short-Term Breaks Service for Carers of people with Dementia / Mental Health support needs

These Services are being commissioned to provide carers a break from their regular caring activities and provide them some free time, as well as providing the cared for person a positive and fulfilling experience by offering stimulation, social contact, and/or activities within a friendly, safe and caring environment.

Provision of Dementia Carers Support Homeshare Service

The Homeshare service provides support in a carers own home or in a home share environment, while the Short-term breaks and MH services provide support through a small day centre and in the carers own home for short respite periods, as well as MH befriending service for those with dementia and other MH conditions.
