Before publishing a formal procurement opportunity, the Commissioner would like to invite interested providers/stakeholders to provide feedback to help inform their commissioning intentions going forward via a short questionnaire. ### Lot Information Lot 1 The Commissioner is aware that a provider for Mablethorpe General Dental Services has not been secured after two rounds of procurement previously. The Commissioner is keen to re-procure General Dental Services within Mablethorpe and would like to seek feedback from potential providers to assist with this. Stakeholders are therefore encouraged to diligently review the information provided relating to the proposed services below and complete the short questionnaire no later than 10:00 on 22nd November 2022. Details relating to the proposed procurement in brief as follow: * Proposed contract length: 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years (depending upon satisfactory annual performance reviews), with a maximum total contract length of 7 years * Potential activity levels: - In contractual year one ~ 9,400 UDAs (Units of Dental Activity) - From contractual year two onwards ~ 18,800 UDAs* * The Commissioner is offering PS28.00 per UDA * Proposed surgery opening hours: Core hours 08:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday. * The Commissioner is exploring the option for the services to be provided in a fixed NHS Property Services premises - Marsico Medical Practice, Stanley Avenue, Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, LN12 1DP. The Commissioner intends to provide a significant subsidy for anticipated Total Annual Charges (including Annual Total Rent Charges, Annual Total Rates, Annual Total Service Charges, Annual Total Facilities Management) for the associated premises costs. * The services must be operational on the expected service commencement date of 1st July 2023. *There may be flexibility to support the delivery of 18,800 UDAs earlier than the second year of contract; subject to the commissioner having availability of funds, patient demand and availability of the workforce. The Commissioner and AGCSU are, therefore, bound only by those parts of the Regulations applying to Schedule 3 services. An expression of interest within this Market Assessment Exercise will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. This is purely a market assessment exercise; any subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published.
