## Summary

Procurement for Housing (PfH) has completed the award process for a framework agreement involving the supply of electrical materials and related services under Lot 2, based on the PfH Material Supply & Associated Services Framework. This procurement covers various industry sectors, predominantly the distribution and control of electricity, and is applicable throughout the United Kingdom. The framework detailed steps for planned investment works, responsive maintenance, and retrofit activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The awarded suppliers include several large companies such as Rexel (UK) Limited, YESSS Electrcial (A) Ltd, and City Plumbing Supplies Holdings Limited, reflecting a diverse offering of services and goods. This procurement was conducted via a limited method without prior publication, leveraging an existing framework agreement, and finalised on 1 April 2023.

This procurement offers substantial opportunities for business growth, particularly for organisations specialising in electrical solutions and renewable technologies. Businesses with expertise in logistics, technical support, and regulation compliance can find opportunities to expand their portfolios and gain access to PfH members. Additionally, companies proficient in smart energy and environmental innovations are well-suited to benefit from this framework, given its emphasis on energy-efficient solutions and compliance with environmental standards. The framework raises potential for strategic alliances and partnerships across numerous sectors, positioning suppliers to leverage the scale and scope of the framework to enter new markets across the UK. Utilising a framework agreement with a significant potential value of around GBP 1.42 billion over the framework duration, this initiative extends opportunities to expand operations through provision of integrated services and products.
