This Lot will cover planned and reactive mechanical engineering services

Specialist Access

1.5 This Lot will cover specialist access services including but not limited to confined space / rescue, working at height, rope access, diving access and zoned areas. Suppliers will also be requested to assess what is considered specialist access area and the corresponding requirements.

1.6 This Lot will cover planned and reactive electrical engineering services

EAWR

This Lot will cover the Periodic Inspection and Testing (PIT) for fixed electrical installations and Class 3 and 4 for lightning protection, including DSEAR and zoned areas, and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) for all portable equipment to ensure continued compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) and ensure effective use of maintenance resources.

Lightning Protection

This Lot will cover the testing of all lightning protection. Class 1 and 2 Lightning protection installed on high-risk assets require inspection and testing carried out every 11 months, so over time the system is tested in all weathers and time of year.

This Lot will cover supply, maintenance and install for GRP tanks and fabrications required in order to operate wastewater, water and sewerage assets
