## Summary

The Kent County Council (KCC) has recently completed the procurement process for an E-Sourcing and Contract Management Solution. This project focuses on the setting-up and re-procurement of an eProcurement and contract management system. KCC is a regional authority responsible for more than 300 public services in Kent, including education, transport, and social services. The procurement method used was a limited tender, awarded to TET Limited. The contract value is £16,916,760, signed on 26th September 2022, with an initial term of 2 years and an option for a further 12 months.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses in the goods procurement sector, especially those providing procurement software packages. Businesses that can offer innovative eProcurement solutions aligned with UK procurement regulations and principles would be well-suited to compete. With the contract awarded to TET Limited, an SME, there is potential for similar-sized enterprises to engage in future procurement opportunities. The project aims at enhancing effectiveness, audit, and reporting in KCC's contract management processes through a reliable electronic system, underpinning the council's vision of delivering better outcomes for Kent's residents, communities, and businesses.
