The Police Ombudsman's Office (the Office) is committed to openness and transparency, subject to the legal parameters within which it operates. The Office is seeking to appoint a contractor to design, develop, support, maintain and host a dedicated website, as well as administration facilities to allow Police Ombudsman staff to maintain and update the site. The site CMS must, in addition, provide a means by which the site may be optimised for search engines, and must provide for the bulk distribution of emails to editable contacts lists (e.g. press releases to media contacts).
