National Galleries Scotland's (NGS) have issued a contract modification in respect of duration awarding a 12-month extension to an existing Concession Contract for the Provision of Catering Services at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery (SNPG). During this extension period NGS will take forward a fresh procurement exercise for the Concession Contract for the Provision of Catering Services at the SNPG.

### Procurement Information

This is a Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEAT) notice. National Galleries Scotland's (NGS) have awarded a 12-month extension to an existing Concession Contract for the Provision of Catering Services at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery (SNPG). This modification is a 12-month extension from 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2023 in accordance with Article 46(1)(a), 46(1)(c) and 46(1)(e) of the Directive. This proposed modification is in respect of duration and does not involve any changes being made to the existing contract in terms of the services being provided to NGS. This proposed modification does not have the effect of changing the economic balance of the contract, nor does this modification operate to change the scope of the existing contract. This proposed modification in terms of contract duration does not have the effect of rendering this contract materially different from the existing contract. Due to unforeseen circumstances related to the impact and recovery from the C-19 pandemic NGS did not have the resource to re-procure during 2021/2022. During this extension period, NGS will take forward a fresh procurement exercise for the Concession Contract for Catering Services at the SNPG.
