Southern Water services intends to enter into a Framework for the provision of products to slow the flow of rainwater from domestic and commercial roofs into Southern Water's combined sewer network including the customer engagement and installation of these products. This will include a range of slow drain water butts, sustainable drainage planters and smart water butts.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

For Domestic Properties: * Procure and/or manufacture 150-300lltr slow drain water butt kits that include connection with various downpipe types. The slow drain feature will allow half of the content to drain over 5+hrs and the other half available to the customer. * Installation service of water butts and associated apparatus. * Manage any inbound contact, aftersales and snagging that may occur within 3 months of the water butt installation. For Commercial Properties; * The creation of a brochure detailing a range of storm water capture devices such as tanks, large water butts and planters. * The procurement and/or manufacture of such devices. * Provide a resource to; o Make contact with, and hold a consultation with owners of large roof area buildings. o Offer the owner a brochure interventions including planters, tanks and larger water butts. o Deliver these interventions to the satisfaction of the property owner and client * Manage any inbound contact and snagging that may occur within 3 months of the water butt installation. SWS has developed a set of questions and is looking forward to receiving your responses to the questionnaire. The questions are not mandatory, but by answering all the questions fully, you will assist us in building an informed view of the external market and its expectations for successful and mutually beneficial contracting relationships. Lot 1a - Customer Engagement, supply and install Slow the flow Sustainable Drainage Solutions East Region (West Reserve)

Suppliers will carry out customer engagement to arrange for connectivity surveys and the following supply and installation a range of slow drain water butts and sustainable drainage planters at Household and Non-household properties across East Sussex and Kent. Supplier will also act as a reserve suppler for the West Region (lot 1b) should the incumbent not be able to meet demand.

Renewal: 3 x 1 year optional extensions

Lot 1b - Customer Engagement, supply and install Slow the flow Sustainable Drainage Solutions West Region (East Reserve)

Suppliers will carry out customer engagement to arrange for connectivity surveys and the following supply and installation a range of slow drain water butts and sustainable drainage planters at Household and Non-household properties across East Sussex and Kent. Supplier will also act as a reserve suppler for the West Region (lot 1a) should the incumbent not be able to meet demand.

Lot 2: Supply and Installation of SMART solutions

Supply and installation of Smart water butts across the Southern Water region. These should regulate the water level within the water butt automatically to ensure the maximum amount of attenuation is available before forecasted storms. Water butt should hold a minimum of 200L or the controller should be able to be retro fitted to a range of sizes.
