This has now exceeded the original cost estimated due to the increased demand caused by staff shortages and falls under the regulations. There will be a new tender in 2023 if the demand continues

The recovery from Covid 19 the demand was much higher than expected as passengers increased beyond expectations and we needed more security staff. It takes many months to train Airport security staff and to change supplier at this point would cause significant disruption and commercial loss.
