Lot 1

Surrey County Council have been in negotiation with Wrightbus over the purchase of 34 double and single decker Hydrogen Fuel Cell powered busses to be used in Surrey Routes by their operators. Wrightbus are the only manufacturer who can provide both Single and double decked busses to the requirements of Surrey/operator. As an operator has placed an order with Wrightbus for a number of vehicles, we have negotiated the same advantageous terms and pricing providing value for money for the use of public funds while not disadvantaging the market.

### Procurement Information

Surrey County Council have been in negotiation with Wrightbus over the purchase of 11 double and 23 single decker Hydrogen Fuel Cell powered busses to be used in Surrey Routes by their operators. Wrightbus are the only manufacturer who can provide both single and double decked busses to the requirements of Surrey/operator. Commonality of spares holding and maintenance operations will add savings to the overall cost of ownership and running of the vehicles. As an operator has placed an order with Wrightbus for a number of vehicles, we have negotiated the same advantageous terms and pricing providing value for money for the use of public funds while not disadvantaging the market.
