The service will respond specifically to the needs of Black, Asian and minoritised women who have experienced violence and will reach communities and individuals who face multiple barriers to accessing statutory and other voluntary services. - The service will provide IDVA roles embedded within Islington's voluntary and community sector settings who will provide support to survivors of violence against women and girls (VAWG) experiencing domestic abuse, sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and other oppressive and harmful practices. - The service will provide one-to-one support to survivors of VAWG and domestic abuse, co-ordinating multi agency support and safety planning by providing practical solutions in Islington. - This service will meet the needs of and provide services to Black, Asian and minoritised women including transgender women. - The service will demonstrate anti-racist values through actions and accountability to Black, Asian and survivors from minoritised backgrounds based on collaboration, inclusivity, and intersectional representation. - Islington Council and partners will work with the provider to develop the service to meet the needs of survivors and their families.
