## Summary

The London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Newham, and Redbridge are seeking early market engagement for the East-London Public Cycle Share Scheme. The scheme aims to provide a public cycle share service across these boroughs and may include e-cycles and pedal-cycles. The procurement process is in the planning stage, and interested parties can participate in the Request for Information process and a Meet the Buyer Event scheduled for 6th & 7th March. The buying organisation is the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, and the scheme falls under the goods category in the transportation equipment sector.

The East-London Public Cycle Share Scheme procurement offers opportunities for businesses in the transportation and cycling sectors to engage in a public service contract that aims to provide cost-neutral cycle share services. Businesses involved in the provision, operation, management, and maintenance of public cycle schemes, including electric bikes and docking infrastructure, would be well-suited to compete. The upcoming Meet the Buyer Event provides an avenue for potential suppliers to engage with the contracting authorities and shape the procurement process, with expressions of interest required for future tender opportunities.
