## Notice

Lot 1

The Council operates a fortnightly collection of Garden Waste from households within the district for a charge. Approximately 24k homes are currently subscribed to receive wheeled bin collections of their garden waste. In addition to this, the Council works with local outlets to offer residents the option to purchasing pre-paid paper sacks to place out Garden Waste on a fortnightly basis. Garden waste is also accepted at the Council's Transfer Station from local traders and internal teams, such as Parks and Open Spaces department. The purpose of this tender exercise is to appoint contractor(s) capable of treating Garden Waste via open windrow, in-vessel composting or anaerobic digestion, or variants under this terminology.

Renewal: The contract(s) may be renewed for a further 12 months
