Lot 1

To assess applications and provide recommendation on eligibility for participation in the scheme. The Supplier will assess company legitimacy to mitigate fraud risks, and engage with the applicant to analyse their energy configuration, in order to assess the eligibility of the energy volumes they propose to claim for. BEIS also require an assessment per eligible provider of readiness to participate in the scheme, and a validity assessment of their claims. An overall fraud risk assessment is required per provider, based on the findings of all checks.

Options: Option to extend for a further 1 month if required.

### Procurement Information

The contract will be a direct award, utilising the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Audit and Assurance Framework - RM6188. We would be utilising a permissible direct award under the framework. Whilst the direct award is permittable through Schedule 7, CCS have advised that it is done so at the risk of BEIS. Regulation 32(2)(c) extreme urgency would be used as a second line of defence which as advised by Dentons.
