## Summary

The Newcastle University has awarded a contract for the provision of business consultancy services for the Teacher Success Project to H2 optimal. The project aims to commercialise university research through the development of online tools to select teacher applicants effectively and support novice teachers and school leaders. The procurement was conducted through a selective procurement method with a focus on quality criteria and equity factors.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses with expertise in educational technology markets and initial teacher education to compete. The selected business executive will be tasked with finalising business and financial plans, securing investments, obtaining university approval for a spin-out company, and fulfilling all legal requirements. Companies specialising in business and management consultancy services are well-suited to meet the requirements of this tender and contribute to the success of the Teacher Success Project.
