## Summary

The University of Birmingham is currently inviting suppliers to provide evaluation services for the Summative Assessment River Cole Project. This project, part of the European Regional Development Fund, aims to rehabilitate land and improve conservation status, with the evaluation focusing on project performance and impact. The tender has a budget of up to £10,000 including VAT, is open for 20 days, and the tender period ends on 10th March 2023.

This opportunity presents a chance for companies in the evaluation consultancy services sector to compete for a contract that involves assessing the impact of a significant environmental and community project. Businesses with expertise in project evaluation and a track record in environmental assessments would be well-suited to engage with the University of Birmingham in this tender process.

## Notice

The River Cole and Tyseley Energy Park: Creation of Community Commons (River Cole) project is a part funded European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) project that began on 1st October 2021 and will complete at the end of June 2023. The main aims of this project are to rehabilitate land and to better its conservation status. In line with latest ERDF guidance published in August 2017, the University of Birmingham invites suppliers to undertake an evaluation of the River Cole Project and provide a final summative/evaluation assessment report together with a summary (both in word and pdf documents) in line with the requirements of the ERDF summative assessment guidance and further requirements noted within the RFQ document. The Summative assessment is intended to provide insights into project performance and impact. The summative assessment should help us to understand the difference that the River Cole Project has made in the local environment and community. The budget for the evaluation service is up to a maximum of PS10,000 including VAT. Although the value of this procurement is below the EU Public Procurement Threshold the University has self-imposed a 20 day full open publication of this tender.
