Currently there are no alternative LoRaWAN based pressure management solutions available for use on the gas network.

### Procurement Information

This procurement relates to the ongoing roll out of new communications technology to the the NGN network and is the result of joint research between the contracting parties. Previous contracts have been awarded to this supplier supported by VEAT notices as required by legislation. This contract represents the full roll out of this proprietary technology across the NGN network and is in accordance with Regulation 50 "(c) where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons (ii) competition is absent for technical reasons (iii), where no reasonable alternative or substitute exists and the absence of competition is not the result of an artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement;
