The Council wishes to engage in discussions with service providers on advancement in technology and developments and innovation in parking that may contribute to wider Council strategies and the potential solutions that the market could offer. The Council would also use this engagement to explore potential areas for consideration for future procurements for these services. The following service areas are being considered: On and Off Street parking and traffic enforcement CCTV reviewing Cashless parking services Penalty Charge Notice and back office processing Enforcement Agencies Suspensions and associated services Vehicle removals Car park management P&D machine maintenance Permit and visitor voucher administration The events will take place between 27 and 31 March. The Council will confirm the schedule later and will depend upon the number of suppliers that would like to attend. The session will be via Teams and start with a 20-minute presentation followed by a 1-hour Q & A session where the discussion will based on those areas set out below. As this is an informal session, there is scope to deviate from the questions depending on the responses and discussion on the day.
