## Summary

The London Borough of Newham is seeking providers to offer Asylum-Seeking Women-Centred Perinatal Support services. The procurement process involves inviting potential providers who can deliver trauma-informed support for women and families from migrant backgrounds. Interested providers are required to complete a form and return it by the deadline of midday on 31 March 2023. The procurement stage is currently in the planning phase, with a focus on health and social work services for women experiencing financial hardship during pregnancy and with children up to the age of 2.

This tender offers opportunities for businesses specializing in health and social work services, particularly those with experience in providing perinatal support to vulnerable populations. Providers with expertise in culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care, community connections, perinatal care, accessible in-person services, parenting support, and language support are well-suited to compete for this opportunity. The tender aims to create a collaborative environment between the selected provider, the London Borough of Newham, and local charities to offer comprehensive support to asylum-seeking women and families in Newham.

## Notice

There is little information available for people seeking asylum about services available to support them with their claim and navigating systems in the UK and services available. We are looking for a provider who can provide perinatal trauma-informed support service for women and families from migrant backgrounds, to support them when experiencing financial hardship during pregnancy and with children up to the age of 2. The service model provided should be embedded within communities, working collaboratively with our in-house early help team and local charities and community groups to enable smooth and streamlined pathways to support. We would like to hear from potential providers interested in delivering these services, to inform the planning of our procurement process. Suitably qualified providers are invited to complete the attached form and return by midday on 31 March 2023. This is not an invitation to tender.
