The Council is seeking to appoint a Technical Approval Authority (TAA) to support its Capital Programme team related to projects undertaken in the future authority area of Westmorland and Furness which includes the Eden, Barrow and South Lakeland Districts. Additional information: Cumbria has undergone a local government reorganisation when Government announced that Cumbria County Council was to be replaced by two unitary authorities with effect form 01 April 2023. Cumbria County Council shall be entitled to novate the Contract to any successor council as defined in The Local Government (Structural Changes) (Transfer of Functions, Property, Rights and Liabilities) Regulations 2008. This contract agreement will be entered into with Westmorland and Furness Council.
