## Summary

Peabody Trust has initiated a Fire Remediation Framework to deliver its extensive Fire Remediation Programme. This procurement process is guided by the legal basis of CELEX: 32014L0024 and primarily falls under the industry category of Fire-prevention installation works (CPV code 45343000). The project targets remediation works across approximately 200 blocks/cores translating into around 75 schemes located in the East Midlands, London, East of England, and South East regions of England. The programme has now moved to the contract award phase, with contracts signed on the 28th of January 2025 for a total value of GBP 500 million across various suppliers including Axis Europe PLC, Guildmore Limited, HIGGINS PARTNERSHIPS 1961 PLC, United Living Property Services Limited, and VINCI CONSTRUCTION UK LIMITED. This framework agreement was procured using a restricted procedure method, ensuring compliance and competitiveness in the tender process.

This Fire Remediation Framework creates ample opportunities for contractors within the fire safety and building remediation sectors, ideally suited for large enterprises capable of managing varied and extensive fire safety works. The significant investment and extensive scope highlight a broad range of projects, from large-scale external structural remediations to smaller isolated safety improvements. The framework's regional focus offers extensive business growth potential for firms experienced in fire safety assessments and regulatory compliance (Pas9980, FRAPT, FRAEW). Businesses capable of delivering high-quality services within the stipulated timelines can leverage this opportunity to gain a foothold in essential public safety works, ensuring long-term engagement and growth within public sector procurement. The procurement encourages diversity in competition but adheres strictly to selection criteria to maintain high standards of service delivery and compliance.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Peabody Trust has a significant Fire Remediation programme following government guidance and implementing fire safety assessments using Pas9980, FRAPT and FRAEW has resulted in circa 200 blocks/cores (which required a FRA). In practical terms this translates to circa 75 schemes with multiple cores and in some cases with varying heights, which require some form of remediation. Each remediation project is different and can range from PS250k up to PS15m and vary greatly in the required works, from a complete linear external rebuilt, to isolated remediations, such as replacement of decking. Peabody Trust wishes to establish a Framework Agreement with Works Contractors with who can deliver the required works on this varied programme. For further information is provided within the Tender documents.
