The Authority is looking to gain Expressions of Interest (EoIs) providers who could be interested in delivering a Medical Cover Service to patients of the Intermediate Care Beds service in the Southport & Formby area of Sefton Place. ### Lot Information Lot 1 The Authority is looking to gain Expressions of Interest (EoIs) from providers who could be interested in delivering a Medical Cover Service to patients of the Intermediate Care Beds service in the Southport & Formby area of Sefton Place. The Intermediate Care Beds service delivers 46 beds and it is anticipated that these will be delivered from 2 different providers. Any interested organisation needs to visit https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome to complete a short questionnaire regarding delivery of the service in Sefton Place. This information will inform and assist the ICB in forming its Commissioning Intentions for these services. The potential contract will be valued at approximately PS300,000 per year; and the contract duration will be for 2 years with the potential to extend for a further 1-year period. The Authority would welcome the opportunity for potential Providers to complete the Expressions of Interest, so Commissioners are able to ascertain the current provider market. This information will inform and assist the Commissioners in forming their Commissioning Intentions for Intermediate Care Beds. The Authority is only seeking expressions of interest from Providers who are genuinely capable and attracted to this potential opportunity. Please only express an interest if you have the relevant authority to do so on behalf of your Provider. The lead commissioner will use the information from the Expression of Interest feedback to inform any future decisions in relation to commissioning of these services with the potential to proceed to a formal procurement tender. If only one Expression of Interest is received, this may inform the lead commissioner that a procurement is not required and no further call for competition will be made. The lead commissioner may take the decision to make a directly awarded contract (following due diligence) to a suitably qualified and competent provider based on the service specification and financial envelope detailed in this call for Expressions of Interest. If a procurement tender process is conducted, full details of how to access the tender will be advertised in line with national requirements at that time and also be provided to any provider who has responded to this call for Expressions of Interest.
