## Summary

The Ministry of Defence, located in Bristol, United Kingdom, is planning a procurement process for the support and procurement of a remotely operated underwater vehicle system. The title of the procurement is "S&MOCB/9000 - Procurement and Support of Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle." The industry category is subsea equipment, and the procurement stage is currently planned. Key dates include the estimated contract notice release in the first part of financial year 2024/2025 and indicative contract award timeframe in financial year 2025/2026.

This procurement opportunity by the Ministry of Defence presents a chance for businesses, particularly those in the subsea equipment industry, to compete for supplying a deep-water work class Remotely Operating Vehicle and supporting equipment. The procurement method is a goods category, and the buying authority is specifically looking for a UK prime contractor to provide both manufacture and support. Businesses capable of providing high-resolution imagery up to a depth of 6000m and are adept at object manipulation would be well-suited to compete for this opportunity, which involves a significant investment in the future for the Ministry of Defence.
