## Notice

### Lot Information

Lot 1

The stairwell cleaning service, or close cleaning as it is known locally, involves cyclic cleaning of the communal areas of over 700 public sector flatted or maisonette properties, up to 5 floors in height. These properties are located across North Lanarkshire in all of the main towns. While a percentage of the blocks are multi-tenure the majority of residents are council tenants. The cyclical cleaning programme will include fortnightly general cleans, as well as more in depth monthly and quarterly cleans. In many areas a more extensive deep clean treatments will be required and on occasions ad-hoc specialist cleans will be required to include the removal of bodily fluids from communal close areas. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal: The Council intends to include an additional 1 x 12 month extension period which can be utilised should circumstances arise that such an extension is required.
