## Summary

The Cardiff Council is planning a procurement process for the provision of accommodation and support services to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children in Cardiff. The contract will involve providing accommodation and semi-independent support to up to 36 young people at a time over a maximum of 2 years, aiming to facilitate their development into adulthood. Cardiff Council will hold a virtual market engagement event to gauge market interest and views on service delivery methods before finalizing the process.

This tender by the Cardiff Council presents an opportunity for experienced provider organisations in the health and social work services sector to deliver culturally sensitive services and support to vulnerable young people. Businesses with experience in providing accommodation and social work services tailored to young individuals transitioning into adulthood would be well-suited to compete for this contract. The planned procurement process will involve multiple stages to ensure the selected provider can meet the stringent service requirements set by Cardiff Council.
