## Summary

Norfolk County Council initiated a tender process for the provision of an Adult Autism Short-Term Support Service. The council sought a qualified provider to deliver social care services to autistic adults, focusing on preventing and reducing social care needs through short-term interventions. The procurement, under the main procurement category of "services," aimed to work with an ethical provider that delivers value for money and high-quality services. The chosen provider, Realise Futures CIC, was awarded the contract, which is currently active. The total contract value is £1,125,000, and the contract was signed on 19th September 2023.

This tender opportunity presents a chance for businesses specialised in health and social work services to engage with Norfolk County Council in delivering support services to autistic adults. Providers offering guidance services, social work services, and welfare services without accommodation are particularly suited for this procurement. The services to be delivered entail short-term interventions and enhancing access to community services, aligning with the council's focus on preventing the escalation of social care needs. Businesses with a focus on quality service delivery and responsiveness to the needs of autistic adults would be well-placed to compete for this contract.
