### Procurement Information

CryoLife Europa Ltd are the sole providers of the ON-X valve which is the required mechanical valve for use in a small cohort of younger patients as the sewing cuff is unique on ON-X valves, the lower advised anticoagulation regime is safer. The CE and FDA approved INR range is 1.5 to 2 which is lower than other mechanical valves that are INR 2 to 3. The unique ConformX sewing ring allows an additional option when the surgeon has to carry out mitral valve surgery in patients with severe mitral annular calcification (MAC).
