This advice is accompanied with a typed report stored in a client electronic information system. Reports include details of a clients home circumstances, medical conditions and disability. This data is linked to person identifiable data and protected characteristics such as gender and race. To save Practitioner time, without significantly increasing the overall processing time for an application, speech to text transcription software and services are being considered to support typing these reports. The publication of this Prior information Notice/Request for Information will be used to undertake preliminary market consultation and to inform the market of the Scottish Minister's intention to procure transcription software and services. This exercise is being carried out in advance of any future procurement exercise. It is not a pre-qualification or tendering exercise.
