## Summary

The Residential Construction Framework Agreement managed by Procurement for Housing (PfH) is a national procurement initiative focusing on residential construction projects throughout the UK. PfH, a central purchasing body supported by major housing associations, aims to deliver low-rise housing, apartments, and extra care homes through this framework. The procurement process is at the award stage, with contracts signed on 13th August 2024. Key dates include an extended tender submission deadline to 10th May 2024, highlighting the framework's responsiveness to market needs. This framework falls under the "Construction work" industry category and targets organisations such as local authorities, ALMOs, and registered providers of social housing.

This framework represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in residential construction, particularly those capable of delivering high-quality, sustainable projects. With contracts totalling £1.2 billion, this tender offers a robust platform for growth, especially for SMEs and regional contractors. The focus on both traditional and modern construction methods, alongside the need for Net Zero Carbon buildings, presents opportunities for businesses committed to innovative, eco-friendly solutions. Companies with expertise in housing development, mixed-use projects, and care facilities will find this an ideal opportunity to expand their portfolio and secure substantial contracts from a leading procurement consortium.
