## Summary

The Department of Justice has completed a tender process for the provision of support services for potential adult victims of modern slavery and human trafficking. The contract includes multiple lots catering to different victim categories such as female victims and accompanying children, male victims and accompanying partners/children, and victims with complex needs. The total estimated value of the contract is £14,000,000. The main procurement category is services, and the tender period ended on August 1, 2023. The awarded contracts are currently active with suppliers withheld for security reasons.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses specializing in social services and support for victims of modern slavery and human trafficking to secure contracts with the Department of Justice. The contract aims to comply with social, economic, and environmental objectives of the government. Businesses that can provide specialised services for vulnerable victims and have experience in handling complex needs, mental health, and addiction issues would be well-suited to compete in this procurement process. The Department of Justice serves as the buying organization and central purchasing body overseeing the procurement process with strict contract monitoring and performance evaluation.
