## Summary

The Arts Council of England is planning a tender process for the procurement of a set of national access standards aimed at enhancing the user experience of D/deaf, Disabled, and Neurodivergent individuals in arts and cultural events. The title of the project is "Access Scheme Standards, Training and Support". This procurement falls under the services category and entails producing a Standards framework that includes standards for Built Environment, Digital and Communications, Customer Service, and Commissioning, Events, and Programming. The Arts Council of England, based in Manchester, United Kingdom, is seeking suppliers to provide assessment tools, quality assurance, training, and support. The procurement method allows for separate suppliers, a consortium, or a single supplier.

This tender opportunity presents businesses with the chance to participate in creating a more inclusive arts and cultural sector by contributing to the development and implementation of accessibility standards. Companies specializing in legal documentation and certification services are well-suited to bid for this contract. The procurement stage is in the planning phase, with an estimated value of £150,000 in GBP. Interested parties are encouraged to engage in Pre-market engagement in July/August 2023 to explore collaboration opportunities. The tender communication indicates that the future notice date is set for 24th September 2023, providing a clear timeline for interested businesses to prepare their proposals and engage with the Arts Council of England regarding the project.
