There are currently 426 students, of which 336 are undertaking a 5 year BDS Dental Surgery and the remaining 90, a 3 year BSc in Dental Therapy and Hygiene. BDS students are required to undertake a minimum number of patients requiring various treatment types, many of which will require lab work.
