## Notice

The Satellite Applications Catapult is seeking a suitable provider to develop its existing Vicon motion tracking system. The aim is to integrate the existing system into the Catapult's robot systems via ROS nodes to allow near real-time updating of programmed positions and trajectories. It is expected that this would be a closed loop where the reported position is analysed against intended & commands sent to the robots adjusting their position. The existing system consist of 34 Vicon Vero 2.2 cameras and Vicon Tracker v 1.1.0 software. The system must track multiple objects to sub-millimetre accuracy at frame rates up to 300Hz, record the results in a database and feedback updated target coordinates/orientations to robot controllers. The total tracked volume is 27m x 7m x 8m. Software APIs to allow connection to other systems should be included as part of the costs. The tenderer should include for all necessary hardware, software licenses, installation, and training costs.
