Despite the government increasing funding for councils over recent years, a combination of high inflation and rising demand has left local authorities facing some of their toughest budgetary decisions to date and has meant that there is a stronger focus on ensuring risks are managed effectively. In particular, the Council continues to face tough financial challenges as was recently reported on our website: Devon County Council's budget in the black despite unprecedented financial pressures - News Unfortunately, we had a limited response to the invitation to tender. Given the current financial climate, the one council approach, the ever changing needs of our services and our ability to be flexible and have future proofed systems we have taken the difficult decision to abandon the procurement and re-evaluate the service needs and requirements at this time. ### Lot Information Lot 1 Devon County Council's (DCC's) Integrated Adult Social Care Service (IASC) is seeking a mature and proven SaaS (Software as a Service) Adult Social Care (ASC) Case Management and Finance system already in use in another Local Authority setting. This will replace the council's use of CareFirst and associated systems. The deliverables include but are not limited to modification (during and post implementation), installation, integration, implementation and relevant on-going support of an ICT system which will support improved service to DCC's residents, staff and partner agencies. The contract shall have a Core term of 5 years: April 2024 to April 2029. With 6 Extension Options: 2 years + 2 years + 2 years+ 2 years+ 1 years + 1 year and a value range between PS4,500,000 and PS11,500,000 over the full 15 year term. The aim of this above threshold procurement process is to competitively select a supplier to deliver the outcome specification detailed in the tender documents.
